A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A WORK-AT-HOME CONTACT CENTER ASSOCIATE

As a Work-at-Home Contact Center Associate,

  • You are the "voice" of each business that you represent.
  • You are always friendly, respectful, and professional in all your interactions.
  • Your cheerful smile comes through as you take inbound phone calls from current and prospective customers of our clients in the home service trades.
  • You ask basic questions to engage the customer about their needs.
  • You communicate professional, grammatically correct verbal and written responses to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Your natural empathy helps you understand your customers' concerns and hesitations.
  • You attend meetings, coaching sessions and training sessions as scheduled.
  • You handle additional projects and assignments as directed.
  • You are self-motivated and stay up-to-date with company reference materials, announcements, promotions.
  • You absolutely love having the opportunity to work from home in your personal remote office, while being part of a supportive team with a strong customer service focus.

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WORK-AT-HOME VIRTUAL OFFICE SOLUTION ASSOCIATE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type and talk at the same time
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and multi-task
  • Strong customer service skills and willingness to serve
  • 6 months Customer Service experience required
  • Previous experience supporting customers through phone preferred
  • Experience with the HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Industry preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills are appreciated
  • Contractor In Charge requires all employees reside in the United States and to successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.

  • Basic computer literacy including experience with Microsoft Office
  • Basic keyboarding skills (30+ WPM)
  • Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed door
  • Late model PC or laptop computer with at least 8GB RAM and 720GB of storage and a large screen display with Windows 10.
  • A second monitor is strongly recommended.
  • A reliable wired (not wireless) high-speed internet connection (10Mbps upload and 50Mbps download) the faster the better!
  • A dual-ear headset that has USB and a noise-canceling microphone
  • Webcam for training and meetings
  • A battery back-up is recommended in case of loss of power. (CyberPower 1500VA is available at Best Buy and online.)
  • Drug-free (including work-at-home positions)

Hours of Operation

Monday-Friday 8am-Midnight, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 10am-6pm Eastern Time. We cannot guarantee shifts or accommodate schedules as scheduling is based on company needs.
